I started Jasper & Elm during deployment and while I was in grad school to become a therapist.
I started making jewelry as a form of art therapy, and as I expanded J&E I realized I wanted to pursue it full time. Fast forward 4 years, and J&E has grown more than I could have imagined. With my background in nonprofit management and events, I work to make sure that the business is able to provide donations to various organizations and causes during the year.
As an active duty Navy spouse, it has been amazing to be able to take this business from coast to coast alongside the support of organizations like Spouse-ly. In the future, my husband and are hoping to make this a brick & mortar endeavor.
What’s your favorite thing about being a part of Spouse-ly?
I love the support from other vendors – such wonderful hype people! I also love having an outlet other than Etsy, which takes such a gigantic cut of of your profits. Spouse-ly genuinely cares about their people.
