Hi everyone! I’m Christie: avid thrifter, serial crafter and lover of all things vintage. I’m a self-proclaimed seamstress, graphic designer, Military spouse and Mom of two sweet babes.
When my daughter was born in 2017 I struggled to find hair bows that matched my style so I started making her hair bows myself. I wanted one of a kind bows that I wouldn’t see every other girl wearing around town. I’m a sucker for exclusivity! A few months into making my own hair bows, I came up with the idea of combining my love of thrifting with bow making by repurposing previously unloved items into something new that will be worn and loved again and the Well Worn seed was planted. While not all of our products are vintage, they are most certainly all made from repurposed materials. That old dress that long ago went out of style, a ripped Men’s shirt that can’t be repaired and sometimes even “discarded” fabric remnants. It’s all fair game! By purchasing our products, you are becoming a part of the movement to reduce textile waste in our country! All of our products are made from repurposed or recycled fabrics and ALL of our packaging is 100% recyclable. I’m passionate about reducing textile waste (and all waste in general) and am always looking for new ways to do so!
Not only do we carry hair bows for babies and little girls, but I have since added scrunchies, bow ties and headbands to the mix. My goal is to have a little something for everyone. I’m so excited to be able to grow our line of products and bring you these adorable items all while reducing waste.
