Introducing the BourbonSmoke Woodworking Knife Collection – U.S.-made blades paired with custom hardwood handles, shaped and finished by hand in our US Shop.

Each knife begins with a verified U.S.-made blade, known for quality knife components across the country.  From there, scales are carefully fitted, contoured, and sanded by hand before receiving multiple coats of protective finish to enhance durability and bring out the natural beauty of the wood grain.

The result is a knife that combines reliable American-made steel with handcrafted woodwork designed for comfort, balance, and everyday use.

Every handle is individually shaped and finished, meaning no two knives will look exactly alike.  Natural variations in grain, color, and figure make each piece unique.

About the Handles:

At BourbonSmoke Woodworking, the handle is where the craftsmanship meets function.

Each knife handle begins as carefully selected hardwood before being cut, fitted, and contoured by hand to match the blade.  The scales are shaped for comfort and balance, then progressively sanded to a smooth finish that highlights the natural grain of the wood.

Multiple coats of protective finish are applied to enhance the durability while allowing the wood’s natural character to show through.

Customers may choose between light or dark hardwood tones, with species being selected based on availability.  This approach allows each knife to maintain a handcrafted feel while ensuring every handle showcases the beauty of natural wood.  

Because every species of wood is unique, variations in grain pattern, color, and figure are part of what makes each knife one of a kind.
