Large Face and Edge Grain Cutting Board, 18″X12″X1.5″

Description

The split face grain cutting board is 18″x12″x1.5″. The cutting board is a combination of edge and face grain that include Soft Maple and Alder. The light, natural colors of the wood give this cutting board a beachy, coastal feel. If used as a display or functional kitchen aid, this cutting board will give a wow factor to your home. When you have a board this big you do not need a juice groove, which also makes the cutting board easy to clean and maintain.

The cutting board was coated with food-safe mineral oil and coated with wax (bees wax and mineral oil). We will re-wax the cutting board just before it ships so you can have a ready-to-use cutting board when it arrives.

Materials used: Soft Maple and Alder Hardwood, water-based wood glue, mineral oil, and bees wax (all are food-safe materials).

Cutting Board Dimensions: 18″ Length X 12″ Width X 1.5″ Height and approximately 6 lbs. weight.

Cutting Board Care: Wash with mild soapy water. Rinse lightly and never submerge the board. Dry immediately. Re-wax every 3-5 uses with cutting board wax and re-oil with mineral oil every 6-10 uses to preserve the cutting board for generations to follow.
