What’s your Origin Story? Your Origin Story is the key to understanding who you are, where you came from, and where you are going. If there is a voice urging you to make a change, seek out new options, and create something new, start with your Origin Story.

Personal Branding

You may not want to hear it, but you already have a brand. Just ask your friends and colleagues. Why not take control of that image and your(self) narrative. Consider how you are representing yourself and what messages you are sending out to the world. Let’s do an overhaul!

Personal Discovery Storytelling

You may be writing material for a TED Talk, a product pitch, or a wedding toast. What are the basic elements of any story (or a Hero’s Journey)? Let’s look at your content, your objectives and your audience and create a dynamic and unforgettable experience for everyone.

Carrie Klewin Lawrence (she/her) is a quirky, collaborative stage director focused on social change. Carrie is also a professor, personal branding coach, and mother of three, who enjoys lindy hop, traveling, and photography. As the author of Origin Story, Carrie weaves personal discovery storytelling into a journey of self-discovery and forward action, encouraging clients to control their(self) narrative.  Once, when she was ten years old, Carrie wrote a play called “Little Red Riding Hood Says NO to Smoking”. Rediscovering that play, in a box kept in storage from her childhood, is the inciting incident for the creation of Origin Story, and the basis for much of her coaching. 

My perspective is unique because of my experience as a theatre artist, professor, military spouse, mother, and personal branding coach.
