Wood Cutting Board | Charcuterie | Single Slab | Epoxy Knothole

Description

This is a single-slab cherry hardwood, large cutting/charcuterie board with an inlayed strip of Purpleheart for strength and aesthetics.  The slab had a knothole with a very distinct grain pattern that surrounded it. The knothole was filled with clear epoxy so the knothole characteristics would still be visible. The board is made with all hardwood (Cherry and Purpleheart) and the epoxy used is food safe. The board has an oversized handle for easy grip and both sides can be used to prepare on. 

The cutting board was coated with food-safe mineral oil and coated with wax (bees wax and mineral oil). We will re-wax the cutting board just before it ships so you can have a ready-to-use cutting board when it arrives.

Materials used: Cherry and Purpleheart Hardwood, epoxy, water-based wood glue, mineral oil, and bees wax (all are food-safe materials).

Cutting Board Dimensions: 18″ Length X 10.5″ Width X .6″ Height and approximately 2 lbs. weight.

Cutting Board Care: Care instructions will be packaged with the cutting board.
