Hello Everyone and Welcome to Deutsch Ecke (German Corner),

We are two friends who love to decorate, diy, craft and bring new life to outdated and old furniture.
We share a similar walk of life. We were both born and raised in Germany. We both married military guys and, we both are moms of four kids. We share similar experiences as military wife’s and now as wife’s of veterans.

Deutsche Ecke (German Corner) means more to us than just a place to share our love for crafting and painting furniture. It’s our therapy and our outlet. Military life brings certain challenges with it and can be very stressful and full of anxiety. We learned how to cope with life’s obstacles by picking up a paint brush and forgetting the world around us by painting and crafting away. It’s like a reset button for us!

We are strong supporters of alternative therapy for our Veterans and Veteran Spouses, whether it is through art, crafting, painting or woodworking we know that people can heal from their trauma and we are here to heal and we are healing together!
