I am Valerie, a retired Army Veteran and Founder of Luminary which I proudly have owned, with my husband, since 2016. Families should expect the unexpected. Luminary provides first aid and emergency supplies to ensure you and your family are at the ready.

My own family was struck by Hurricane Eta on Veteran’s Day in November 2020. Our Luminary Hurricane Survival Kit helped us get through the night as our home filled with nearly five inches of water, and we lost power in the middle of the night. Thankfully, we were prepared. Shipping Policy

We will ship your order as soon as possible. Most orders typically ship within one to three business days; however, the availability of our stock is variable due to large government purchases and management of expiration dates to get our customers the latest inventory. If there will be an extended delay (greater than two weeks) on your order, we will notify you. The shipping method chosen is based on the date products are available to ship.

Refund Policy

Your business is important to us and our customer’s satisfaction is paramount.  We designed our policy so that is easy to understand and use if needed.  If you would like to make a return, take a look at our policies below. We want to make sure you’re completely happy with your purchase. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience, please contact us at returns@luminaryint.com or call us at 727-230-9112.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once we receive your returned item, our team will review your request and inspect the item. We will send you an email to confirm that we’ve received your item and are processing your request. We’ll follow up with another email once the request has been processed to let you know if your return was approved.

If approved, the money will be refunded to your original method of payment within one to two weeks. All payment companies are different in the amount of time it takes to confirm a payment, so it will likely take a minimum of a few days for the refund to show up in your bank statement.

If you are wondering what the status of your refund is please do the following:

  1. If you haven’t received a refund within two weeks, first check your bank account again.
  2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at returns@luminaryint.com

Cancellation Policy

Returns

Luminary accepts return requests for items that are unopened, or unused, with the original tags still intact. The product(s) must be in their original packaging, if applicable, in the same condition, in which it was received. If you wish to return your item, we must receive your request within 30 days of the date you received your item.

  • Exceptions: We do not accept returns for perishable items or gift cards. 

Exchanges (if applicable)

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective item, we’re happy to exchange the item for a new one. Please email support@luminaryint.com within 30 days of receiving your product to begin the process.
